Get to Know Me: Kerry Gatewood, Fashion Stylist & Enthusiast

Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about fashion. I quickly found that I have a natural eye for design and styling outfits that help people to look and feel their best. My niche is styling for curvy and plus-size woman as well as big and tall men. Over the years, I have been fortunate to turn this love into a career.

I am fashion stylist and enthusiast that has had the opportunity to work with and learn from some incredible professionals within the industry. I have dressed models, celebrities, and entertainment professionals for fashion shows, red carpets, award shows, and appearances such as New York Fashion Week, the BET Hip Hop Awards, and the BMI Trailblazer Hip Hop and Gospel Awards. In addition, I have styled and dressed a wide array of personal clients ranging from CEOs to soccer moms.

I’m here to tell you that looking great doesn’t have to cost a fortune. You don’t have to overhaul your entire wardrobe with each new season or even each year, or spend hundreds of dollars on current trends. There are so many opportunities that exist within the pieces you already own.

I’ll share with you some of my favorite pieces from my own collection and show you different ways to dress them up or down. I love a bold color and chunky accessory, but I also appreciate the classics. You can refresh your wardrobe just by adding a few new pieces here and there.
